A small can from Brewerkz Riverside Point, Singapore, drunk at home here in Taipei. Aroma: fresh grass, not much else coming through. Appearance: a very foamy pour; opaque cola, enormous tan head dissipating quite rapidly. Palate: light-bodied and slick, average carbonation; long, well-malted finish. Taste: medium-bitter with sweet notes, vey bold espresso coffee, quite a bit of vanilla. Disappointing aroma vindicated by very flavoursome taste - pretty good stuff.

Can in Garching. Dark brown body,off-white head. Blueberry and cocoa in the aroma, creamy. Lean, dry taste, berry touches, some cocoa, too dry for the style I'd say, some roastiness by the finish. Simple, okay.

Can. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, oats, mild roast. Taste is the same, a bit mealy with roasty finish. Slightly mealy mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation.

Pint on tap at Brewerkz, Clarke Quay. Black beer with crema on top. Sweet chocolate/cocoa nose. Medium body. Dry coffee bitterness with abrupt finish. Not as tasty as I had hoped but served too cold (we are in Singapore so....). More flavour appears as it warms. Not bad, lacking body for an Oatmeal Stout.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a rather chalky character, with oats, and earthy dry cocoa. Flavour is quite similar, with dry cocoa powder, earthy chalky notes, and light oats. Decently constructed, but lacking some body. It's alright.

Tap at Brewerkz, Riverside Point. Poured a clear dark brown with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty sweet light caramel malt, light smoky, charcoal, dry hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich roasty, grainy, liqouirce, dry hop bitter palate and a smooth rich malty mouthfeel. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
