Lager Lager Lager 2

From tap at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy malts, grass and hay, notes of tropical fruits and hops with citrus and a mild floral/herbal touch. Mildly sweet flavour with with a moderately bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely hopped Lager!

Sampled draft @ ’t Taphuys. Lightly hazy golden, soapy white head. Nose is mellow peach, stone fruit, honey, mildly sweet. Taste is mellow peach, sugar, faint ice tea, peach, apple, sugar,... Body is soap, peach, sugar,... Mildly sweet, decent,... Far better than the first version. Totally different from what I expected. Pleasant easy drinking.

From tap @ the brewery. Hazy golden color. Creamy white head. Aroma’s of malts/grain, light fruit. Retronasal it’s grainish, malty sweet, lught fruit. Flavor is grainish sweet, light bitter. Light bodied. Finishes slightly dry and reasonably (moderate) bitter.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and slightly herbal aroma of lemongrass, pineapple and lemon. Sweetish, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy and slightly herbal taste of lemon, pineapple, some pineapple and lots of lemongrass, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather herbal-grassy and slightly dry finish. Medium body, a bit creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice stuff!

Draft at In De Wildeman. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, peach and light grain. Flavour is above light sweet and moderate bitter. Light bodied with a juicy hop coating palate and light carbonation. Lovely hopped up lager!
