Part of the Cryo Series. Ice cider is a dessert beverage which originated in Quebec, based on ice wines originally from Germany, but made from apples instead of grapes. Ice cider is made by freezing the juice of apples until it is solid and then letting it melt slowly. What melts first is the highest sugar content juice, basically an apple syrup, and what is left behind is mostly water.
