Can shared. Thanks Sam. Pours pitch black with a finger of brown head. Roasted malt, maple syrup and coffee on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Lots of coffee roast, maple syrup and some vanilla sweetness come out a bit.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Odense. Pours Black with a small creamy head. Roast, massive maple and good coffee. Smooth and full bodied with a good roasty dry bitter finish. The bourbon barrel could only make this perfect i reckon. Wauw.

Crowler into a snifter showing translucent coffee with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows clean maple syrup. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Moderately sweet with a maple syrup forwardness supported on a roasted malt backbone. More maple forward sweetness on the finish with a roasted notes.

Taster at the brewery - nearly black, minimal head/lace - nose is mostly coffee and some maple and dark malt - oily texture - dense and complex coffee flavor, maple, smoke, vanilla - a bit hot in the finish, but otherwise full and flavorful, without too much acidity from the coffee infusion.
