Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense - The Hype Must Be Real. Cloudy pale red with a small white head. Big aroma of red berries with obvious cranberry, notes of vanilla and oak and a hint of funk. Dry and very tart cranberry flavour with a tannic bitterness.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden red. Small pink head. Aroma is medium dry. Fruity. Slight herbal. Dry, citric and dense fruity. Lingering fruity. Dry and citric. Fruity finish.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is really nice with a moderately strong cranberry note with some lighter citrus and pineapple notes. A medium light herbal, earthy funk note. Light oak notes. A faint poopiness with some medium light acidity. Pours a slightly hazy, purplish pink with a small, forced, thin, pinkish head that recedes and disappears quickly. No lacing or legs. The first pour was fine, but the second pour was super chunky and full of fruit pieces; this is amateurish. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness. Medium high cranberry notes with some tannins. A light juiciness. Some light herbal, earthy funk notes. Some light citrus notes and pineapple notes. Light oak notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice beer in terms of flavor and aroma, but the quality control was bad; it seems like they bottled the entire barrel, fruit and all. Good funk and oak.
