Coronado Early Bird Cold Brew Milk Stout with Honey Cinnamon & Coffee 5% No idea why I didn’t see this in Kansai (not yet?) anyways at 650-700¥ it was a good deal. Deep black with a beige head. The aroma was big honey cinnamon with sweet milk coffee. Full bodied with a velvety texture. The taste starts of sweet spicy, then gives you spiced latte flavor. Tasty. Kind of makes me think of an entry level Abraxas.

Can. Dark brown. Thin head. On the nose, the chocolate makes the biggest impression. Thick body for a regular strength stout. Almost syrupy, and there is a lot of chocolate. This also has a fair bit of coffee, which comes across as nutty and a little bit roasty. I'm not sure if there's any real lactose but maybe that's the full body. Almost too rich for a wake up call, but it's a nice stout.

Nitro pour @ St. Augustine's, Vancouver. Funny it actually doesn't look like a nitro pour - it lacks the classic nitrogenated head. Dark brown, not much head. Looks like a nice stout. The aroma showcases a lot of coffee - soft and toasty, with what smells to me like ample malt sweetness as well. The body is soft, so maybe this is nitro...lots of coffee. It has a nice character, though. More like coffee candy than anything else. Sweeter, slightly caramelly malts. Not a whole lot of bitterness, but clearly enough that it isn't too cloying, so I'm assuming that the roast is contributing some if it's only 15 IBUs.

Tap at the Freehouse, Singapore. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, lactose, cofee, chocolate, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth rich, slightly oily sweet malt, rich dry coffee chocolate, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Delicious chocolate cake with hints of coffee. Roast aspect is supporting very well this very sweet stout.

12 oz can. Pours a vert dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of rich creamed coffee and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with thin but syrupy chocolate. Very nice for the ABV.
