From old tasting notes. Tawny deep brown color. Small brief beige head. Faint toasted malt aroma. Light caramel malt flavor with hints of chocolate. Smooth and flavorful.

12oz bottle on 4th Feb 2017 at my daughters new place in Laguna Niguel. Nice brown body, beige head: malty lead which carried through to the finish. Aroma had malty molasses and chocolate notes, taste just followed on with semi-sweet maltiness and chocolate flavours.

Good beer, slightly thin on the body for what I'd like in a brown, a bit high on the carbonation. Not much nutty flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a murky medium brown with a long-lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is light sweet malt, earthy, mineral. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a light bubbly burnt toffee malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

355ml bottle. Clear, dark chestnut colour with ruby red glimmer and average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nutty, caramel malty aroma, slightly earthy and grassy, hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty with a nuttily touch, slightly grassy hoppy overtones with cautious, unspecific fruity touch; super-soft and creamy palate.

Bottled (AbM). Brownish amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, some sweet malts, mild wooden and resint notes along with some spruce. Flavour is similar with some mild chocolaty notes to it as well.
