Brewed with Simcoe, Chinook and Nelson Sauvin hops, the caramel and chocolate malts complement piney, tropical fruit and citrus flavors and aroma. At 40IBU, this beer is not overly bitter, and the finish is a grapey/wine note from the Nelson Sauvin hops.

Rate 3.6, best before 03/25, buying it at Ingelheim, sharing this beer with Juan-Carlos, yesterday, at Epalingea. A light and classical red ale more bitter for the style with a malty and light body, discreet ftuity note, watery, breafy, fresh malt.

Bottle at home. Pours deep copper with a finger-thick head. Nose is bitter hoppy and there's some caramel. In taste the same notes appear and it closes with a short bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbo. Expected more tbh.

Aroma of bready malt, caramel, fruity notes, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Okay Amber Ale, a bit bland though.

On-tap in Kaschk, Berlin on 10th May 2023. Off-white crust on a hazed amber body. Malty molasses rule the nose and taste with toffee and caramel to the fore, citrusy hops give a slight bitterness but it's about the malts.

Missed review from 28.8.2016. Light brown creamy head stayed on hazy dark reddish brown body. Malt & pine aroma. Full mouth feel, crisp & dry on the palate. Almost sour tasting with pine, citrus, hoppy, stone fruit, sour plum but also a malty & caramel back. Not my favourite style but a decent beer.
