Our Christmas Ale was brewed to the same recipe as our AIBA Gold Medal winning triple IPA, before being aged for three months in fresh American whisky barrels.
The palate is mildly sweet with toffee and vanilla notes. A bold hopping regime of Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo and Simcoe makes itself known
in the cleansing bitterness.
Cellaring time: Drink fresh.
Appearance: Light amber.
Aroma: Oak barrel with mild pine hop aroma.
Flavour: Rich, buttery whisky barrel vanilla, alcohol sweetness and a dry hop-driven finish.
Malts: Simpsons Crystal, Gladfield Ale, Vienna and Redback.
Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe and Amarillo.
Yeast: American Ale.
