Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Kernel swede. Nose has ripe citrus peel. A little apricot and peach. Some passion fruit. Dry biscuit malts in the background. Taste is juicy, pithy bitter. Some mineral character. Clean and slightly drying mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. More citrus to finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, grassy hop, lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet moderate to light bitter with a fresh crisp, fruity, woody hop bitter, light pepper spice palate and a lingering hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Hazy gold beer, small fluffy white head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth light malts bring a modest sweetness. Light pine in to bright clean yellow grapefruit with trailing grapefruit peel and bitterness. Light orange and a trace of sherbet. Light crisp finish brings bright fresh orange and leaves a grapefruit linger. Lovely stuff. So bright and fruity.

Bottle at home in Hackney - big thanks to Kenny for picking it up! Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose has some lemon peel, floral hops, grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with dry pale malts, some further floral hops, pithy lemon and grapefruit, hay. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Bitter finish, grass and flowers, lemon rind, more dry pale malts. Decent overall. But not up to the usual Kernel standard.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A hazed golden coloured pour with a lasting sticky loose white head. Aroma is nice fresh bready grains with mixed fruit hop bouquet, with tangerine, melon, apricot, Flavour is composed of semi sweet raw bready malts, orange rind, light chalk, little white grape, little woody pine in the finish. Really nice balance. Palate is soft and fluffy, easy going, Firm bitterness in good balance. Really good stuff.
