First this beer impresses by its deep golden colour in the glass, followed by pure enjoyment with the first taste and long-lasting smoothness in the finish.

As Harboe Bear Beer Lager, 5%. Can from the Beer Shop has no Name, Kuala Lumpur. poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin short-lived fizzy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is skunky cardboard malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a dry watery, gluey malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation. Not great.

Can from Seiyu. Very pale gold, medium, airy head. Malt is weak cereals, a bit of Sprite, and wort. Light, cereals, wort, some citrus. Somewhat gummy tasting. Not very good. Not quite offensive, though.

Can 500ml (Maxima Tallinn, canned 07/2011)
Probably brewed by Wiru, although can says only "produced in EU". Pale yellow color, small white head. Grainy, sticky harsh aroma. Light bodied. Harsh grainy front, then some more frutier notes in the finish. This is not "light lager" but lowish alcohol bear beer. Industrial pale lager.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, a bit salted rotten fish, some slight herbs and hay. Flavour is grains, hay, some bready notes as well as some salty and herbal notes. As it warms up a bit it also gets the salted rotten fish like notes.

500ml Can - Pale golden with a white head. Malty and grainy aroma with hints of corn and lemon. Malty and grainy taste with notes of corn and some watery lemon notes.
