Black with no head. Aroma is char coal, soy sauce, licorice and a little bit of vanilla. Sweet flavour with notes of Bourbon, licorice, nuts and warming alcohol. I expected a cloying vanilla mess but this is actually realtively balanced.

Bottle purchased from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Friday 25th April 2025. I made a Prawn Moilee Curry whilst Loz made Parathas, both from the Dishoom cookbook. Listening to early Pere Ubu, Television and Talking Heads tonight on Tidal all from 1978-80 period. Pours pitch black with a head than vanished in an instant, probably consumed by the inky depths below it. The nose is pure bourbon, cannot pick up anything else. It's so thick in the mouth, but creamy with lots of vanilla, warming from the alcohol (14.7% I think) smooth chocolate, bourbon again. Yeah this is lovely, a great beer.

On tap at Balkan Beer Bash 2025. Black with tan head. Chocolate, loads of vanilla, pretty smooth, medium sweetness with nice bourbon.

Chapter omnipollo provning med Sjösten och son. Denna blir oväntat vinnare då sjukt fin mjuk vanilj med bourbon 🥃. Numera köper vi ingen amerikansk bourbon men man kan ju inte hjälpa Omnipolo öst in i sin öl.
