An incredible throwback for one of our most heavenly collaborations. We first brewed an 'Even More Jesus' with Evil Twin in 2013, and this 12th Anniversary rendition is very much in the same style. Expect intense depth of flavour emboldened by liquorice root and rich muscovado sugar.

Can split 3 ways with Seanus and Mark. Picked up at Penistone Tap and consumed on the train back to Sheffield. Looks good even in a plastic pint pot. Very deep chocolate brown with a good shiny lasting tan swede. Leggy and viscous. Bitter chocolate and semi bitter coffee roast malt. Little earthy spicy with gentle steeped fruit boozy notes. Slick but not rich or sticky which sat well. Absolutely didn’t need it but absolutely enjoyed it.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 21st April 2025. Almost impenetrably black with deep brown foam and scant lacing. Rich and intense treacle, Christmas cake, fruits and spices in aroma. Cherry fruits, salted caramel and hints of smoke in-mouth and a long, luscious finish. Full bodied with a dense, viscous oily finish. What an adventure!

16th July 2025
Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear deep brown beer, tidy bubbly tan head. Fairly light palate for the style, a mild dryness and a good fine minerally crispness. Smooth if thin feeling dark malts, some dark malt cream and chocolate along with some tangy espresso. Brown sugar and modest licorice show up just before some alcohol spice. Nice flavour profile here, a smooth and richer mouthfeel would have made this feel like a proper Impy to me.
