330ml can from brewery. Dark clear amber-brown, small beige head, thin retention. Aroma of caramel, stone fruits, berries, liquorice. Taste is malty but some decent hops, caramel, light fruity, semi-sweet, moderate bitterness. Light to moderate body. Very refreshing and sessionable, should be in a 440ml can but maybe for the sake of my waistline its a good thing its not!

Third by hand-pulled cask at GBBF Winter, Jewellers Bar. Shared with Finn. Unclear brownish body, beige head, scattered lacing. Malt-fruity nose, doughy. Mixed flavour character of dark fruits and toffee. Sweet and bitter finish. Straightforward bitter version, more or less. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).

Cask - Pours a hazy dark amber colour with a small head that quickly disappeared. Aroma is malty, caramel and nutty with some fruit and wood notes. Moderately bitter with a soft caramel sweetness and a little drying finish.

23/8/2019. Can from Connolly’s Birmingham and shared en-route to Peterborough beer festival. Pours amber with a large short lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, biscuit, dank hops and fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation.

Appearance- quite a light amber, some haze, a giant pillowy off-white head which takes a while to settle. Aroma- hops, caramel malt, hint of dark fruit. Taste- hop bitterness, biscuity malt, smooth mouthfeel, short bitter finish, hints of bitter orange.
