Velvety matte shine – Smooth, full-bodied flavor
Munich Kellerbier Anno 1417 shines with a seductive golden honey color. A beer with a distinctive character: earthy, bold, quaffable and yet refreshingly mild and light. Just like a real Bavarian.
Creamy and effervescent, typical of unfiltered beers, a delightful ticklish mouthfeel. Aromas of caramel, honey and plum dominate and emphasize the beer’s malty, spicy flavor. Unmistakable hints of apple and grapefruit bring in a fruity freshness.
Our Munich Kellerbier, a beer like from the good old days when beer was born. After aging four weeks, it is bottled unfiltered, which still preserves all its yeast vitamins and trace elements.

At Giulone Therme close to Verona, classical kellerbier but it is really watery and lack of hop and malt, a bit fruity at the final, 16.08.17

Bottle from The Beerhive (2013) and cans from Great Grog (2024) and Margiotta (2025). Deep golden body with a faint haze and an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of malted barley, copper penny, white pepper and earth. Flavour of peppery earth, bready malt and a crisp, hoppy finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A tasty Kellerbier with a nice peppery aftertaste.

50 cl bottle. Kind of silly not taking any notes after drinking 5 or 6 of this one.

0.5 l bottle while whatching the CL semi-finals. Pours deep, hazy golden-orange with thick, quickly disappearing head. Nose is sweet, and mainly grains appear in it. In taste there’s some mild bitterness too, but it’s mainly sweet too, I get grains and some honey. Light bodied with average carbo, easy to drink. Average.

Bottle.
Hazy amber pour, rocky off white head.
Aroma of earthy grassy hops, and some light biscuity malts. An overall earthiness takes over and maintains throughout. Dry bitter finish with a subtle yeasty finish.
