Our cross-continental IPA. Made with Australian and American hops, this citrus heavy IPA opens up in the glass with notes of pineapple, tangerine, and orange rind. It’s sharply bitter and nearly 8% ABV. . . The name comes from the initial batch in which, post boil, the wort looked green from so much hop particulate floating around. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. This special edition we have added marshmallow to the beer just for you...

Pours a bright, almost glowing, orange-butterscotch color, with mid-sized head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, with a ton of marshmallow/vanilla. Flavors follow. Soft mouthfeel. Mild hop bitterness at the finish. Really tasty, good stuff.

Charlton draught, 4/6/25.
As pictured.
Marshmallow is fairly strong and sweet, but, again, it seems to work and is immediately balanced by the strongly dry spice/spruce of the Galaxy. Dry pineapple joins in to balance, as well.
Soft, sweet, gooey almost. It seems they use the same dose of adjunct, regardless of the ABV and so this one seems more dominated by the marshmallow compared to the Very Green version. Still pretty close to balanced, with unripe guava and pineapple and heavily drying spiciness akin to spruce/pine in my mind. Maybe a bit too much sweet/bitter juxtaposition and it just doesn't feel as balanced and cohesive as the Very Green version.
