Lovibonds nod to the beer style that started the US craft revolution.
Bright gold, with foam emitting heady aromas of citrus from several different US hop varieties. Finishing fresh and clean with just enough bitterness.

Bottle bought at A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Herby/grassy aroma with a touch of sweetness. Light gold. Thick foamy head. Medium bitter. Some quinine at first before a citrus streak sweeps through. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Old school APA. Nice enough.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, floral, fruity, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, hints of red berries, strawberry, a citrusy touch. Taste is minimally tart, citrusy hoppy, minimally piney, rather neutral caramel malty basis. So-so.

33cl bottle from Waitrose, Wokingham. An amber pour with a thin white head; creamy grainy aroma; smooth in the mouth with a light citrus flavour to start, then developing a grapefruity bitterness; with a sweetish finish with a lingering bitterness. Good stuff.
