A classic English Ale, a blend of Pale Ale, Crystal and amber
malts gives a smooth beer with a full malty flavour, with hints
of dry biscuit. The hops are a blend of 4 English varieties and
the bitterness is balanced by malt fruity notes. A long finish is
complimented by the hop aroma which has a hint of spice.

Clear deep amber colour, medium frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, thin layer remains, good lacing. Malty aroma, toasted, caramel, fruity notes, light citrus. Flavour medium sweet and bitter, toffee, malts. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. Medium to mild dry bitter finish, spicy notes, some wood, decent bitter, not an IPA.

Cask handpull at County Hotel jdw Ashford. Clear amber lasting beige head. Sweetish malt fruit. Vague hop on the finish. Little bit of strawberry in the mouth. Then a dryish finish. Ok but a bit watery.

Cask at the Queens Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. Golden amber with a tight cream head; caramel aroma with a touch of spice; grainy body with a smooth bittersweet toffee taste; and a vegetable bitterness (with a hint of boiled cabbage); but otherwise quite satisfying.
