Can @ Patricks. Black body under a small beige head. Quite much pastry from the aroma, tonka, chocolate, caramel and hint of cinnamon. Taste is sticky sweet chocolate, caramel, dark malt and rather well camouflaged alcohol. To much pastry for me.

Can, at Patrick's. Tonka, vanilla, dark chocolate and some roasted malts. Sweet, warming and a bit too pastry-ish. 646414 260424

Small sample from 473 ml cans, at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, small tan head. Distinct aroma of tonka beans, maple syrup, molasses and roast malts. Cloying flavour with dominant tonka beans. I hate tonka beans, and the maple syrup does not help.

Dark brown colour, slightly unfiltered with a copper highlight. a light mocha-coloured head leaving some foamy lacing and a coat on the brew. There is a beautiful, fresh aromas of spices that comes out with time - almost like cinnamon and others in that field. Might just be the tonka bean and maple syrup combination listed in the ingredient, but does not seem too sweet, nor vanilla. The spiciness continues into the taste with a touch of alcohol-bitterness. The mouthfeel is thinner than expected with a tad oiliness. Again, not getting much maple sweetness flavours. Liking the tonka bean in this easy-drinking, spicy Imperial Stout.
