33cl can (8%) brewed in Cambodia. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, liquorice, some dark chocolate and hints of coffee. Well balanced with the alcohol well integrated. Smooth and quite delicious. Very nice foreign stout! (Second time I tried it, it was not as good, so it’s a bit hard to rate, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt) (2012-04-29)

11 oz can flown back from Singapore by beertraveldude, thanks for the opportunity David. Pours a solid black color with a decent tan head that slowly recedes with minimal lace left in its wake. Smells mostly of caramel and brown sugar with hints of lactic burnt grains ala Guinness. Lightly fruity, slightly melanoid, and acridic coffee with little to no hop aroma or flavor. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation with a slick bubbly mouthfeel. This is surprisingly not a bad brew. I have had worse Export stouts before and if I ever find myself needing a dark beer in Singapore I may give this another go.

Can from JMD. Black with an offwhite head. Aroma of dark chocolate roast malt. Flavour is sharp, deep roast malt that gives the urge to eat crisps to balance the palate with is almost salty.

A deep dark stout with a thick lacing dark brown head. In aroma, a woody chocolate with warming alcohol, and light vanilla notes. In mouth, a light smooth bitter chocolate, coffee, bready, overall, interesting. I’m revitalized!320 ml can from a supermarket in Singapore, tasted July 6 2011 in Cambodia.

33cl Can in the airplane to Singapore. ABV was not stated on the can, but I’m not surprised by the 8%. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, moccha, liquorice, berries, bit of sour cream. Flavour is the same with a bit of liquorice root and coffee in the finish. Light to medium bodied, good stout.

323ml can. Opaque black brown with thick tan head. Aroma of dark roast malt and coffee, maybe a hint of seaweed. Medium bodied with modest carbonation. Dark, almost burnt, roast malt flavour with definite coffee and maybe treacle. A distinctive bitter / burnt aftertaste. Not my favourite style of beer, but this one has a lot of character. (My can stated 7% ABV, not 8% as per the description)

Great deep dark brown body with a thinnish tan head and a muddy complexion. Aroma of deep roasted malt, strong nuts, oatmeal and a bit of sweet raw sugar. Medium-bodied; Strong roasty body with coffee (we are in this part of the world, aren’t we?), chocolate and a good nuttiness. Aftertaste shows sweetness, roasted nuts and a lot of good malt. Overall, a pretty damn good beer - better than the ones I had in Mainland China and well worth finding over Tiger! I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from 7-11 on Orchard Road in Singapore, Singapore on 20-August-2007.
