Bottle. Pretty clear, light gold colour. Aroma is belgian yeasty, bit of saison like herbiness, grain and a bit of watery fruitiness. Taste is quite nice, but feels a little lacking in the body for the taste. Finish is slightly spicy and has a sweets/candy like sweetness. Interesting.

Izakaya Juraku, NYC: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is floral, bubblegum, spice. Solid floral taste. Low bitterness. Bit of spice.

Sample from the bottle at FatPhil's, Tallinn. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, herbal, some Belgian yeast elements, some hops and malts. Musty but drinkable.

Nomikurabe @ Oedo Beer Festival at Machida. Pours light yellow straw, quite transparent. Some foam there as well. Nose has light citrus, hints of light acidity, probably easy to drink. Taste is light, good citric balance there, some acidity but not too much, feels quite fresh. Light and refreshing, lots of citric character. Far Yeast has really upped their game, hoppy and citric, that's the name of their game now.

Tap at Burger Mania. Listed as a weizen. Lightly cloudy gold with no head (weird, but Burger Mania doesn’t put heads on anything, but I was surprised as it was listed as a weizen...anyway.). Light clove aromas with some fruity and peppery saison like esters. Taste is more of the same with some light sourness. Finish is more weizen like. Ehhh, it’s ok.

Bottled. Deep, shiny blonde with a large, fine, airy head. Nose is big citrus, yuzu or mikan, Not listed on the label, but I think there is some citrus added. Wheat malt, very juicy. Could be hops only? doubt it. Get a bit of the cat piss from the Nelson. Lovely citrus flavor on crisp, dry wheaty malt, peppery finish. Sweet in the middle, ends dry. Crisp. Excellent witbier. Very refreshing and quaffable, but holds up to winter cold as well. Very fruity, I think yuzu has been added, peel and juice. It has the juice in the nose. Can’t be only hops, it seems. The nose especially is very citrusy like juice. Love that spicy, peppery finish. This is a completely different beer than the last one I rated. Tap at Yokohama Beer Fest 2015 as Weizen Edition: 6/4/7/4/13. Not sure if they are different beers. Creamy, biscuity, what nose. Orange, lemon, a bit of tart and creamy yogurt. Original review text: Bottle. Cloudy pale gold, thick low head. Cat piss, grapefruit, yeasty nose. Bready malts. Crisp malt, nice grapefruit hops, bit pissy. Hay, herbs. High carbonation is nice. Very prickly. Peppery hop finish.

A very light cloudy gold that honestly reminds me of grapefruit juice. The nose is weird: wheat and a kind of full but sour bready esteriness... it has a nice smooth mouthfeel on a medium light body. The taste is a sour wheat beer, fruity, spicy cloves and sour. It isn’t bad just weird.
