Handpull at the Salmon, Leicester. A deeper gold than I was expecting. Still and no head. The aroma gives Maraschino cherry and a little bit of pineapple. Very sweet taste with cherry to the fore, with canned pineapple and citrus. Some gentle bitterness in the finish but it doesn't redress the balance issue. Light and slightly oily body. OK.

Draught at Newcastle Beer and Cider Festival 2025. Bright orange gold colour, some white bubbles on top and aroma of fruit, jelly, tropical. Taste is sweet, tropical, fruity, cherry, cough medicine, sugary, with some tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet finish. Quite OK
