Behind this beer
Being the second born isn’t easy, so we thought the little brother of Dubbel Nelson deserved a leg up. We dry hopped it with 100% Nelson Sauvin just like its elder sibling, but we replaced some of the hop pellets with Amplifire hop oil from Clayton Hops to really turn up the volume of those smash-hit aroma notes that Nelson Sauvin is known for delivering. Amplifire is essentially a liquid dry hop, with all the oils extracted from whole hop cones on the same day they were harvested, also known as ‘wet’ hops as they don’t go through any drying or processing before extraction. The aroma oils from the ‘wet’ hops will not be degraded by heat or oxygen allowing the hop oils to be preserved in their purest and freshest form, which really amplifies the hop aromas once they’re added to beer.
Tasting notes
Bright with a soft haze and light in body. A touch of malt sweetness with a clean hoppy finish. Bright tropical and citrus aromas with notes of grapefruit, white grape, gooseberry and a hint of diesel.
Ingredients
Heidelberg Pilsner malt, wheat malt, torrefied oats, torrefied wheat, and Premium English Caramalt. Spalter Select in the kettle, Mosaic in the whirlpool, dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin in pellet and Amplifire hop oil form.

Burk från SB. Disig/grumlig gulorange vätska med fluffigt medelhögt skum. Stilmässigt mellan hazy och west coast med tyngdvikt åt det senare med både fruktighet och rejäl beska. Mango, tallskott, resin, grape. Trevlig

Can at Ölstugan, Linköping. Extremely dank hoppy aroma. Light haze. It's obviousy very hop forward with a good bitterness. Standard for the style but not exciting me.
