Pours amber with a large head.Nose shows citrus-like hops, bready and biscuity malt, spicy and grassy hops.Flavours pretty much mirror the aroma exactly. A solid, easy-drinking pale ale.

Bottle. More gold than amber. Very clear with a white head that fades to half an inch. Aroma of passionfruit and kumquat, a little pine. An earthy note that doesn’t obviously belong. Light bodied, highish carbonation. Pretty dry and the fruit gets lost a bit. Bitterness is rough with medicinal woody tones and some grapefruit zest. Not convinced.

This is a real companion beer to the Moon Dog Double Lager, which has a very unique bitterness that I’ve not tasted in any other beer. The aroma is peach, pine, a tiny bit of salted caramel, peanuts and bread. The taste is orange, peach, pine and salt coming together in a really enjoyable melange. A winner.
