Keg at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. This turned out to be the best of the 3 pales ales consumed here on 12th March. Hazy dark gold with small but creamy looking head. Notes of grapefruit, resin, pine, malt, pithy and citrus notes in a bitter finish. Very nice.

Cask at Colmore, Brum. Aroma had low key fruit and malts. Clear gold. Thick foamy white head. Very sweet and sugary citrus and stone fruit. Light. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. A tad too sweet for me.

Half-pint, cask ale at The Wellington. Shared with Finn. Covering white head, clear golden body, upper part lacing. Grassy nose, hints of pineapple. Fine blended taste of pineapple, cereal malt, and leafy hops. Satisfying bitterness to the ending. Nice. (Birmingham 13.02.2023).

Keg at the Keans Head, Nottingham. Mid-gold with no head. Woody resinous hops in the aroma. Same in the taste with a woody astringency. Heavy carbonation. Not a lot to it but decent all the same.
