Bottled. Very deep brown, close to black, colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild roasted malts, coffee, lactose and some dried fruits to it. Flavour is citrus, some mild roasted tones along with mild coffee to it. Smooth flavour, which combines the citrus, coffee and mild roast nicely.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Looks good in the glass, darl black, nice head. Fine malty aroma, some salty hints. Some liquorice. Interesting. Starts malty, dry, light roasty, more and more hoppy-dry. Also light fruity notes of lemon. Finish again more on the malty side, light roasty. Well balanced. Really nice!

Sample during the "Final Christmas Eve Adventures with the Foxes" on 12/24/2017. Black pour with a medium beige head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, pine and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of roast malt, resiny hops and dried fruit. The finish is malty up front with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Pours near black with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of pine and grass with earthy dark grains and a hint of chocolate supporting. Flavor combines pine and earthy dark grains with touches of chocolate and grass backing.
