Panda thanks to Cloin. Love these birds, part of the Kingfisher wider family and really enjoyed watching them in Africa circa 35 years ago! The beer, unfortunately, does not represent the bird on the looks front, pretty much the opposite, a drab murky looking darkish gold beer. Small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Milky sweet malts. Light crisp pine, a little hop spice. Ripe if reasonably bright citrus. Light finish. Very underwhelming dipa which is such a shame because the bird it's named after is a stunner. Go see It whilst you still can. Can? Geddit? I'll get me coat...

Can bought at The Brewers Tap, Southsea. Hazy neon orange (albeit the nron is not super bright). Thick foamy white head. Aroma had pulpy citrus with peripheral gooseberry. Herbs. Ooh. Flavourwise it' has super sweet citrus. A pulpy element. Tart edge, alongside resinous bitterness. The resins kicks out the jams as it gets it's groove on. Alc. Medium-heavy bodied. Pulpy. Flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Yum. Interesting stuff.
