Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - golden amber coloured pour with a white head. Aroma and taste is tart apple prominence, lovely bramley apple notes, light malty, calvados soaked wooden accents, yeast, tart fruity finish.

Bottle split at the last minute CBJ Tasting (big thanks Marcin for hosting), cheers to LKS for this one, 13/07/23. Clear golden amber with an off white cap that thins edgewards. Nose is dusty fruits, oak, orange peel, herb, hedgerow. Taste comprises tangy fruit rinds, herb, spice, tannins, damp oak, modes barrel, apple core. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable .. .another one past its best.

Bottle shared in London - picked up locally. Pours clear deep red-gold with a small, creamy white head. Medium sweet flavour, some ripening apples, mellow oxidation, caramel, subtle tang, lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow warmth to finish, nips of apple, wood. Not bad.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey. Thanks. A mostly clear copper brown coloured pour with a a halo of off white head. Aroma is tangy, spicy cola, woody, cinnamon bruised apple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet z tangy oak, vanilla, green. Apple, funk. Tangy. Good fun. Spicy barrel.

Not the L6 bottleshare. Thanks to LKS. Hazy amber beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish malts, touches of caramel and cream. Nice winey vibe with a modest Calvados apple vibe. None too spicy here. Little caramel before a light semi dry finish. Nice.

At SBWF 2017. A bit hazy dark golden with a small head. Aroma and taste of apples, light funk, some malt and calvados. The body was medium and the finish with warming alcohol.

Tap at SBWF. Slightly hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma has riped apple, calvados. Medium-bodied. Apply, fruity, calvsdos-like. Hides abv well. Apple overdose.

Bottle from Stoneworks, Peterborough. Reddish amber colour with a thin head. Aroma earth apples and earthy The taste wine apple sweet and sour balanced, with slight spice. Full bodied.
