Cask at Crown & Anchor. It pours hazy amber with a decent bubbly off-white head. The aroma is earthy, pine, resin, brown bread, earth and light caramel. The taste is bitter, earthy, wood, resin, leather, peppery spice, grapefruit peel and brown bread with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Cask @ Soup Kitchen, Manchester. Slightly hazy amber coloured with a very small head. Crisp enough drinking, pretty easy in the palate with a light citrus fruit character including orange. Certainly understated with its flavours.

500ml bottle from Gloucester Services Farm Shop. Pours clear gold with good white head. Big cascade citrus aroma. Taste is citrus, lemon, floral with a nice crisp bitterness. Very decent.
