[August 2023] Clear and golden with a bubbly/frothy white head and a very soft fleshy fruit aroma. Moderately sweet light ale, easy drinker with a hint of bitterness in the finish

24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear dark gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, lemon curd, lime, tropical fruit, grass, sugar syrup, light herb, touch soapy. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, slight tart edge. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Decent.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - resin, stalks and bitter lemon. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a dry middle section that leads into a dry and slightly astringent finish. Overall - more of a golden ale than an American Pale Ale. Disappointing for one of Englandโ€™s most improved breweries.

Cask @ Mr Foleyโ€™s, Leeds. Golden-blonde in colour. It has little noticeable weizen character, but is still a more than palatable ale.

Cask @ The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aroma of pale malts, light exotic hints. Taste presents a good golden ale, not really an APA for me, but pleasant citrus is to be found. Nice refresher!
