Handshake – Imperial Stout with Hand toasted Coconut and Cinnamon
This collaboration between All in Brewing and West Coast Bryggeri was made as one of the very first beers in our brewery in the celebration of our initial collaboration and gentleman's Handshake making their range of beers at our brewery. It needed a complicated malt grain build to create the complexity we were aiming for. This was to be a BIG Stout and we even flavoured it with Coconut and Cinnamon. Made in the end of September and matured post fermentation and flavouring for over 4 months. In February we felt that it was time. The smooth beast was ready!
Malts: Brown, chocolate, smoked malt and roasted Barley
Hops: Cascade, Willamete and Magnum
Flavouring: Hand toasted Coconut and Cinnamon. Demerara Sugar and Dark Syrups to increase complexity

On tap at CBC ’16. Black with a medium beige head. Aroma of coconut, coffee, dark chocolate, roast, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at CBC 2016, Red session. Poured almost black with a round frothy tan head. The aroma is sweet malt coffee, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet with a big roasty malt liqourice light alcohol palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch Black with a creamy tanned head. Sweet aroma with coconut, toasted malts, caramel, bread,. Taste is bitter. Full body. Finishes lasting dry and toasted.

33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and chocolate. Sweet, dark malty, vanilla, chocolate and light herbal. Teaish. Dry dark malty and chocolate to coconut.

Draft @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2016. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty coconut and dark fruit chocolate aroma. Roasted malty spicy cinnamon and coconut flavor. Has a roasted malty coconut and cinnamon finish.

Flaska från SB. Kolsvvart, högt beige skum som sjunker utan lämna rester. Stor doft av choklad och rostad kokos. Tjock munkänsla, väldigt söt, fudge, choklad, massor av rostad kokos och en spretig kryddighet. Mishmash av smaker, sött, kryddigt, kokosdränkt och en avig chokladbitter beska. Inte bra.
