Clear, Slight Cold Haze Cloudiness, Amber Color, Small Bubbly White Head, Dissipates Quickly, Runny Ring Of Lacing, Nothing Sticks. Sweet Cherry Syrup Aroma. Sweet, Cherry Syrup in Taste and Aftertaste. Warming Alcohol Heat. Smooth and Easy Going for ABV. Might Not Be For Everyone, But Pretty Good For What It Is... Enjoyed It. Recommended...

One word: Robitussin (or Tussin if you got the cheaper store brand).
I’ve complained about a few other beers tasting kind of cough syrupy. For me it’s previously been some of the red IPAs and a couple hazy ones. But no other beers I’ve had taste this much like cherry cough syrup. I guess it smells okay. It’s mostly boozy cherries. The sweet, boozy flavor is just straight up cough syrup though. I don’t know how they’d think this brings to mind cherry vanilla annd pie crust flavored ice cream. No, it very much does not.
I’m annoyed they released this beer. Southern Tier’s quality is usually pretty high. This should have been dumped. My 3 rating feels generous.

(Tap) slightly hazy, bright orange amber color with a small white head; aroma of cherry syrup, vanilla, smooth palate, sweetish flavor with a long, mostly sweet finish, I agree that this is not good

Dark gold color with a thin off white head that dissipates quickly. Light cherry nose bready caramel flavor is sickly sweet with little cherry but vanilla and sugar. This just doesn't work.

Golden tan with a medium sized white head that faded quickly. Tangy and sweet with cherry, vanilla icing and sugar. Long finish. Full body.
