Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is soft tropical fruits, hops, grapefruit, malt, hint of caramel, slightly floral-ish. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Not much of an "Imperial" IPA, decent fruity hops and bitterness though.

Sesongstart på Mi2 Cardinal, jan -18 (fra flaske): klar gylden med ok skum. En kraftig, balansert og meget velsmakende start på det nye ølåret! Alle gode IIPA-karakteristika er til stede - karameller, mango og andre tropiske frukter, kvae, grapefrukt, appelsinmarmelade and you name it. Vi skåler og ser lyst på fremtiden.

Bottle. Orangey coloured golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is well hopped, and the flavour is very strongly hopped and bitter with a vinous quality. Overall a nice IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy light amber with little off-white head. Aroma of bread, some caramel, some pine needles with resiny and fruity notes. Tastes bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, bitter finish, slightly dry mouth feel.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. Rather clear golden body with a decent off-whit head. Aroma is totally malt driven with bread, mango and ripe fruit. Flvor is sweet malt, some caramel, ripe mango, ripe fruit in general and quite boozy. Balanced body with a sweet, slightly harsh bitter aftertaste. Miss some balance between the sweet & boozy and some freshen. Might be a bit too old?

355 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Hazy deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of citrus, especially oranges, a little caramel, and piney hops. Citrussy and piney hops in the flavour too, also some tropical fruits. Well balanced for an imperial IPA.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, light creamy sweetness. A touch of bitterish tea! Good bitter orange and lemon with the peel of both. Pine, also a little bitter. Trace of caramel. Light finish. Could be brighter but tasty enough.
