Cask at the Bootlegger, 29/09/17. Clear golden copper with a decent light beige head. Nose is biscuit, straw, GK house yeast, faint citric drizzle. Taste comprises orange peel, straw, grains, light floral notes, chalky minerals. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter rip. Adequate golde ... Nothing I'd look to revisit mind.

Clear caramel golden color with a smal white head on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Herbal, malty and some toffee notes in the flavor.

Cask at the White Hart, Holyport. A bright pale amber pour with a thin cream head; biscuity malt aroma; malty body with a citrus taste, followed by a sharp vegetal bitterness; then some sour grains and caramel to finish. Not bad, more assertve than the average Golden Ale.

Cask halfpint at Old Blackfriars, Aberdeen. ABV was said to be 4.0%. Golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, some toffee. The flavour is fairly dry, hints of toffee, fairly distinct bittering hops, but hardly any fruitiness.
