If you’re a fan of classic movies and Mel Brooks you’ll love this beer, a delicious and fruity IPA without the punch to the face. The Amarillo and Simcoe hops complement the natural mango flavors for a juicy, tropical and well-balanced beer. It’s not over the top fruity, still very much an IPA… never mind that… HERE COMES MANGO!

Draft. A cloudy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruit, mango, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with hops, mango, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can 35.5cl @home poured into a shaker. Hazy deep golden colour, loose frothy white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing. Aroma pale malts, mango, grapefruit, pine resin. Taste medium bitter and sweet, malty, grapefruit, light mango, pine resin, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry bittersweet aftertaste, lingering fruitiness, spicy notes, well-made, very nice.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A: mango / 21A). Can 35 cl - Batch MAN 5 (BBF unmarked - Canned on 6/10/20). AROMA: medium to medium-high hop aroma with some green, pine ad slight grassy notes. low green-like mango notes. medium neutral malta background, slightly sweet. faint diacetyl. APPEARANCE: light gold color and medium hazy. medium-low white head with medium retention. TASTE: medium hop flavor with a green pine-like character. low mango flavor. medium-low malt flavor with a neutral character. medium to medium-high bitterness with a relatively dry and slightly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an ok fruit IPA where the hops started to fade due to age and without noticeable mango.

In der Nase schonmal den Namensgeber voll getroffen. Im Trunk fruchtig, harzig, leicht itchy, Mango, dabei aber nicht süß, leicht alkoholisch.

Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Hazy straw color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, mango and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Creamy white head stayed on a hazy dark gold still body. Mango & Tropical aroma. Medium bodied, sharp over the tongue with a dry clean back. Mango, sweet citrus, bitter citrus, pineapple & peach tastes with a long tangy finish. Excellent

Can: Poured a yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh juicy mango notes with some citrusy floral hops notes also perceptible. Taste is a nice mix for juicy mango juice notes with some citrusy floral hops notes with light tropical notes also discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Loved the fact that mango are really coming through in this one.
