4oz pour at brewery. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Aroma has smoky, roasted malts. Flavour has roasted malts and a ton of smoky wood. The smoke character is great, but there's almost no carbonation and the toasted malt is fairly weak. They got the first half of smoked porter, but dropped the ball on the latter half. Still more enjoyable than most of their other beers.

On tap at the brewery. Has good sharp coffee on the nose but no real mention of smoke it seems. Nice black body has a bit of foam on top. Flavour is good smoked barley with a good hit of smoke. Crisp finish but could be fuller on the mouth. An improvement from some of the beers I've had from this brewery.

[ As Off the Rail Olde Winston Smoked Porter ].Clear dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, smoke. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, smoked, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170819] 7-4-7-3-14

Bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, smoke and caramel. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, smoke, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

Bottle, TTOD(U)RBSG17. Black, beige head. Light roasted malt, mild smoke. Wood smoke aroma, some roasted malt. Lasting bitterness. Thin.

Sampled @ The Tenth Official Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017, Day 2. A dark brown/black beer with a huge most good lasting tan head. aroma of smoked dark malt, bacon, coffee. Taste of sweet dark roasted malt, smoked malt, bacon, chocolate, high carbonation.

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. Dark brown to black color, medium sized beige to light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, heavy smoke, earthy, dark malt bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not my kind of beer, too smoky.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is smoked and roasted malty. Roasted, dark. Bitter. Dark malty. Lingering dark malty and smoked. Lingering dark malty finish.

7 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering ’17. Black with a tan head. Aroma of toast, dark chocolate, caramel and light smoke with green hoppy notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, smoke and hops. A bit thin and too carbonated.
