Opaque deep brown to black with a small beige head. Roasted & toasted, burnt bread, cocoa, smoke, salted caramel, chocolate cookies, esters, warming alcohol. Light sweet & bitter. Dense. Tasty.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate fizzy tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of roasted malts, stale black coffee and hazelnuts. Flavors follow same; richer and a bit creamy. A very good, dry, solid imperial stout.

Can at home. Opaque black color, medium sized brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a lot of liquorice, moderately roasty, malty bitter, distant laurel notes. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Alright.

0.33 l can from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2030. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and vanilla. Very sweet, malty, quite roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, coffee, some licorice and a touch of vanilla, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Almost full-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy, intense brew, super roasty, quite good overall.
