375ml dark green bottle as Lindsaymans Framboise, 6.5% abv bought at Six Degrees North Aberdeen. Fast declining white head, no lace, deep golden body. Gooseberry tartness, dry, on the nose. Flavoured with brett and tart ripe lemon with undercurrents of gooseberry and raspberry followed by a sweet, tart, and dry ending. Fine bodied and well made (Shared with djoeye and Finn at a rating session in Tromsø 23.03.2017).

Bottle, split at Barrow Hill. Dusky pink. No head. Nose has raspberry. Funk. Straw and hay. Taste has light acidity. Dry, crisp, clean, bright funk. Turns soft dry, with a light, raspberry tang running throughout. Very nice indeed.

Bottle split at Rail Ale ’16, thanks to Garrold, 20/05/16. Pale straw to crimson colouration with a moderate off white head of bubbles. Nose is tarte berry, straw, funk, grain, light apple skin, must. Taste comprises raspberry pips, funk, damp straw, light citric acidity, tangy red berry, sharp berry infuse. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, rising acidic bite leading to a puckering finale. Decent fruit lambic, one I’d certainly return to.

Bottle big thanks to Lorna! It pours clear rose/pink with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, funky, fresh raspberry & cream, touch of jam, slightly woody, vanilla and some raspberry pip. The taste is crisp, tart, bright acidity, sour raspberry, raspberry pip, green apple, old fashioned lemonade, wood, jam and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. As with the base beer it is perhaps just a touch acidic, but I can’t help but like it.
