Aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, this 13% imperial stout brings new depth and complexity to the original. The bourbon barrels lend warm notes of vanilla, caramel and subtle oak, perfectly enhancing the robust base of chocolate malt, dark malts and oats. Coconut and cocoa return to the mix delivering layers of tropical sweetness and rich dark chocolate that meld seamlessly with the barrel character.
The result is a bold, full-bodied stout where rich malts, bourbon warmth and decadent adjuncts unite for an indulgent and balanced experience.

CBH2025. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aromai s cocoa, coconut, milk chocolate with some sweet dried fruity tones as well as some wooden and mild vanillaish tones. Also alcohol shows a bit. Flavour is quite similar, but booze shows a bit more than in the aroma. Still rather delicate and a pleasant sipper.

Smooth, slightly sweetish with some roastiness, licorice, hints of oaky vanilla and woody notes, some coconut, cocoa and chocolate. Pretty good old skoolish BA stout. Greasy coconut vibes start pushing through as it warms up

Fles gedeeld met Mimi, Roel, Rik, Tessa en Guus. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier. Het heeft een aroma van cocos en Bourbon. De smaak is vol, Bourbon, vanille en cocos.
