Packed full of fruity New Zealand hops, including Nelson Sauvin. Aromas of tropical fruits give way to a unique grapefruit sharpness. Haka is a malty and smooth, full-flavoured, well-balanced pale ale.

Cask at Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Clear amber gold with small white head. Pale malts, grape, kiwi, light floral hops. Very balanced fruity gold with definitive oceanic hops. The hops may not be punchy but its a cask golden ale really and this delivers on the sessionable level. Good.

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Old Joint Stock. Clear golden body, spotty lacing from a film-type layer. Moderate lemony hops on the nose. Lemon and peaches to the taste character, cereal malty support. Mat-fruity finish. Pretty fair. (Birmingham 13.02.2023).

500ml bottle: BB 31st Aug 2020. Drank at home on 27th Feb 2020. Slight haze to the golden pour, short lasting white head that became a wisp after a minute of pouring. Citrus hop nose, bitter citrus taste on a malty base. A little harsh in the throat with a mini ginger heat rush, which I found a bit strange.

Gravity cask at the Forest, Dorridge, winter beer festival 2015. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth light hop, light spicy palate and a soft fruity bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
