A delicate session-strength beer with a hints of orange blossom, coconut, vanilla and a refreshingly dry finish.

A quaffable, cloudy white ale that is perfect for those afternoon sessions after a hard day's work or play. Pours a cloudy pale straw colour with a dense mousse-like white head. A perfumy coconut and vanilla note on the nose, with a little citrus and spice, and bready grains from the wheat. The mouthfeel is full for such a pale beer, but still very light and elegant. The beer finishes with a cleansing acidity, a faint spicy note and only the mildest touch of citrus from the virtually non-existent hops.

Draft at the Taps Better Beer Festival 2015, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light grain, mineral. The flavour is light acid lemon citrus with a light watery mineral yeast palate. Light bodied with average carbonation and a light mint finish. Refreshing in the Asian climate but no real body and lacking defining flavours.

From a 330ml bottle on 27/12/2014. Pours a quite clear, very pale straw colour with a smallish white head. The nose is pretty ordinary, coming across as stale and grainy. Taste wise it is, as noted by a number of other raters, really odd. There’s some tart citrus at the start, some chamomile, a touch of spice, followed by a blunt, dry and unappealing vinous bitterness. Light bodied with lively carbonation. This just really doesn’t work on any level, presenting as strange, unfocused and pretty unpleasant. Really disappointing given I’ve previously found Yeastie Boys’ gear to be very good indeed.

(Bottle) Hazy straw with short-lived loose white head. Restrained aroma - citrus, bananas, maybe hint of bubblegum. Light body with coarse carbonation. Taste is rather odd - starts off fine with some refreshing citrus but there’s little balancing sweetness, and then the weirdness kicks in - hints of camomile followed by some bitterness appearing which initially is pleasant but then it develops a rather harsh metallic edge, followed by a cold strong tea tannic character. Overall, weird and not very pleasant - disappointing.

Pours gold with a quickly fading head.Nose shows grainy wheat, cardboard-like malt, spices, banana, hazelnut. Weird stuff.Very similar flavours, but without the banana. More nutty and grainy notes.
