Sweet and toasted malty with notes of sticky sweet molasses, toffee and fudge like sweetness, dried fruit shred, nice body and mouthfeel, light spices, bourbon infused warming malty into the close. Lovely.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Green session), pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is boozy and harsh, with bready malt, bourbon barrels, and harsh booze. Flavour is no more coordinated, with harsh booze, dark malts, and hot bourbon. Something seems to have wrong here. Very hot and abrasive. Uncoordinated indeed.

On tap at MBCC 2025, green session. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Brown bread, crusts, burnt sugar, bourbon barrel on the nose. Flavour has brown bread, crusts, bourbon barrels. Very good.
