Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear golden amber pour with a creamy off white head, aroma has a hint of tangerine and crisp malts, taste has some caramel, citrus, a hint of pine, refreshing pils.

Paradox Pilsner bottle. It pours a deep gold with a big soapy head of foam and a bready malt aroma, lemony hop notes and an earthy pine bark-ish hop character. The beer is light bodied with some crackery malts and that pine bark bitterness I don’t terribly care if it’s for. OK.

Keg at Taps, Kl. It pours golden-amber with medium white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, grassy, light tropical fruits and dough. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, citrus peel, light soap, toasted grain, dough and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Balanced, crisp and crushable. Very nice pils.

Draft at the source. Clear bright golden yellow color, thick whitebhead, solid lacing. Aroma of white and black pepper, hay. Taste is bitter lager. OK.

Pours amber with a large, lasting head.Nose shows soft tropical fruit and honey. Nectarines, lychee, pears, floral notes. Also some cookie dough-like malt. Very nice.Similar flavours, more of the cookie dough character and overt floral notes, along with some spicy hops.Carbonation is much too high, annoyingly so.

Bottle. Gold with a huge white head. High bead. Aroma of lemon/ lemon pudding, passionfruit. Taste has light sweet and slightly sour grain, tropical fruit, dry finish with lemon and some herbs. Perhaps a touch overcarbonated. Crisp and lean.
