Transatlantic Belgian Red Strong Ale är bryggt på pilsner-, vetemalt och havre samt tranbär och lingon. Humlet består av tjeckiska Saaz och alkoholhalten är 7,3 procent. Resultatet av mötet är ett torrt, friskt och fruktigt öl som för tankarna mot Bourgogne och rosévin på Pinot Noir.

(Bottle) Pale hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with lingonberries, cranberries, lemon, white bread, a touch of honey and hay. Fruity, tart taste with notes of lingonberries, cranberries, pink grapefruit, white bread, hay and a dry and fairly tart finish with a moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing with lots of tart red berries. Quite nice.

Clear deep orange golden color with a small white head. Looks quite nice. Ok and inviting aroma. A bit fruity, malty and some herbal-ish notes. Nice thick body with a soft carbonation. Quite easy to drink. Some pleasant fresh acidic notes also. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. A bit berry fruity flavor. Also malty and some herbal notes that felt like juniper. Nice ale.

Bottle from trade with Olsvammel, as part of the Euro Swap, many thanks! Das Bier hat eine fast klare orangegoldene Farbe und eine geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch nach belgischer Hefe, reife Früchte, scharf getreidig. Geschmack säuerlich malzig, reife Früchte --> Die Frage ist ob die Säuerlichkeit gewollt ist, man kann es trotzdem gut trinken!

Flaska från SB. Gyllanfärgad som drar åt rött. Söt och syrlig bärig doft och smak med lingon, nypon, havtorn mm i bakgrunden finns en liten mögeltouch typ en grönmögelost, lite fenoler och fruktiga godisestrar. Mer roligt än gott kanske. Men roligt iaf.

Flaska från SB. Underlig färg. Doftar syrliga bär. Skum smak. Vet inte om jag skall hissa eller dissa. Alkoholen känns definitivt inte.

330ml Bottle - Hazy golden with a foamy head. Floral hops, peach and notes of berries in the aroma, although it’s hard to distinguish between the cranberries and lingonberries. Fruity taste with a good balance between sweetness and some slightly tart notes from the berries and the yeast. Very easy to drink considering the abv.

Clear orange with full head, soon disappearing. Berry and rhubarb aroma. Sour taste, dry, fresh, rather short.
