Yorkshire Pale Ale. Brewed in celebration of famous veterinary character James Herriot, this is a light, bright Yorkshire Pale Ale with a stubborn hoppy kick. Its carefully crafted at our brewery in Masham in the heart of Herriot country. Using a blend of Fuggles, Goldings and Brambling Cross whole flower hops.

Bottle from a Lidl sale. Shared with lovely Anja and little Mirko. Clear golden, medium off-white head. Vaguely malty and really no hops. Light bitterness and cardboard in the flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation, very light finish. Everything wrong with this one.

Bottle from Lidl. Full clear golden body, white head. Bread and apricot jam aroma. Dry taste with a solid bitterness in the finish. Probably, with Bishop’s Finger, the best among the shitty craft and fake craft beers that Lidl imported.

Boca 0,5L - kupljeno u Lidlu...nisam neki poznavalac engleskih piva ali ako su sva kao ove pizdarije iz Lidla onda mi ih je stvarno žao...

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear copper pour, two finger white head. Ok retention and lacing. A bit harsh on the nose. Dusty, cardboard. Herbal notes eventually coming through. Thin and watery. Pretty high on the carbonation. Taste is quite bitter, a bit unpleasant with lots of metallic notes. Mouthfeel quite dry and a bit peppery. Aroma is generic. Malty, grainy, herbal. Dusty. Some earthy hops. Metal. Rusty. Peppery. Unpleasant aftertaste, metallic and bitter. Dry finish. Overall, this was quite poor. Mediocre and generic, nothing to write home about here. Meh.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light grassy hop citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a woody hop bitter, light metallic, light sweet palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served on the cool side. More of a golden ale than a bitter. I’d buy this again.

Bottle from Asda. Copper-gold with a thin head. Good pale ale nose that holds most of the fruit flavours in this one. It’s taste is understated but it’s light texture means it’s an easy drinking ale.
