Cask gravity on the bar at Fierce Aberdeen. It pours clear reddish - amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sappy, oily, resin, blood orange, pomegranate, iced bun and brown bread. The taste is bitter - sweet initially, sappy, resin, blood orange, candied tangerine, marmalade and brown bread with a drying finale. Average body, oily mouth feel and limited carbonation. Fairly mellow and perhaps sitting on the sweeter side. Enjoyable anyhow, but more bitterness and carbonation would really elevate this.
