bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie. Some years ago this beer was brewed in Litomerice, until the brewery there was closed down. Golden yellow with a touch of orange. Fluffy white head. Malty and sweet, slightly hoppy and dray in the finish and aftertaste.

Bottle: deep golden coloured, small but lacing white head; sweet pale-malty nose with a taste of honey and a faint touch of aromatic Saaz hops; medium bodied, moderate sweet bitter flavour; sweetish, malty, honeyishj finish with a delicate bitterness. (Adopted from the defunct brewry of Litomerice/Leitmeritz and named after the baroness (baronka in czech language) Ulrike von Lewetzow, Goethe’s last platonic love, whom he met in the bohemian spa of Marienbad/Marianske Lazne......)
