When building this year-two Mutuality blend, we wanted to keep the bones of what made batch one so special for us, while also embracing the natural variations in barrel varieties, base beers, and aging times.
Mutuality XXV is once again a double-barrel aged stout, aged in several bourbon and one apple brandy barrel, and aged on Cook Island vanilla beans for the final stretch of the aging process. Apple brandy and vanilla come through in a big way on the nose, which switches to a bourbon-and-vanilla show on the palate. Big warming heat and mellow oak, deep dark chocolate, bright marshmallowy vanilla, and a lingering finish with the apple brandy making one last appearance alongside some delicate spice notes from the vanilla. Tap @MBCC 2025, Green Session. Oily black, tiny tan head. Rich dark malty aroma. Heavy sweet dark roasted flavour, dark choc, some vanilla, boozy buzz and bitterness. Great!

Первое пиво последней сессии и самая длинная очередь фестиваля. Пиво очень шоколадное, бочка, винные ноты как будто какие то танниные, ваниль, крепкое тело.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Green session), pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of bourbon barrels and moderate roast. Flavour is super rich, with intense bourbon barrels, wonderful roasted malts, and dark sugars. Wonderfully complex bourbon character. Excellent.

On tap at MBCC 2025, green session. Pours black. Dark chocolate, vanilla, bread, bourbon barrels on the nose. Flavour has dark chocolate, crusts, bourbon barrels. Great.

MBCC 2025, Green Session. A black beer, no head. Aroma of caramelized dark malt, bourbon, toffee. Taste of strong dark toffee malt, caramel, bourbon, whiskey, boozy finish.
