33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a huge tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light herbal hoppy. Toasted malty, light fruity and fading hoppy. Mild sweet, bitter and light fruity finish, roasted through out.

Bottle at home. Pours a black colour with a big, light brown, creamy head. Has a fruity and hoppy aroma with roasted malt in the background. In addition I find grass, harpix and wood. Has a great hoppy touch on the flavour as well with grapefruit, pine and some roasted malt in the end. Has a slick and rich mouth feel, and medium bitterness. A porter dominated by the hops all over. Balanced, but feels more like a black IPA.

On tap @ Amundsen. Can't argue with the fact that it looks quite black in the glass, but it also has a slight red hue to it. The head looks really good, medium sized deep dark cappuccino dark in color and lacing as hell. Not as toasty on the nose as I had hoped for or expected. It's more fruity sweet with lots of dark sugars and berries. It's really comfortably carbonated with a near creamy mouthfeel. Not really roasted in the taste either to be honest, but it's tasty. I get lots of dark berries and fruits, some strong yeasty tones, a little bit of really old coffee and it's leaving a light dry aftertaste in the mouth. Will gladly admit that I had hoped for something a bit more here, but it's a flavorful one none the less. 13.10.2013

Draft. A black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of hops and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, hops, and spoces, leading to a dry, chocolatey, and roasted finish.

Flaske 0,33l kjøpt på Vinmonopolet i Brønnøysund og drukket på rom 208 på Elite Plaza Hotel i Örnskjöldsvik 31 Okt 13. Kullsort. Høyt mokkafarget bobleskum med kniplingsmønster. God kaffe/lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Mye lakris. Blir syrlig bitter etter hvert. Avslutter veldig tørt.

Tap at the Green Lion, Malmo. Poured a dark brown colour with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is big malt, red berry fruits and dark chocolate. The flavour is strong bitter with a rich malty light coffee alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, from backlog.Cap marked T-188 amd BB date 2015-02-07.Black color, fairly big light brown head. Sweet, hoppy, citrus, resin scent, some malt and roasted notes also. Citrus, resin, bitter, hoppy, alcohol taste. Citrus, bitter, resin aftertaste, long after comes a roasted lingering note synced to a lasting piney bitterness. Medium to a bit realxed yet not smooth mouthfeel, medium high to high bitterness.Nice, but overly hoppy for a black beer for my taste, I’d like it even more with the hops and the bitterness toned down. But hey, it is just my opinion ;)
