Very light, but slightly cloudy pale golden coloured body with a large, four to five centimetre tall microfoamed pure white head that shows no signs of fading after being atop the 25 per cent opaque body after a few minutes. Aroma of dry grass, hay, flowers, grain, honey, light candy sweetness and some spent malt notes - light in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Slightly rich, somehow, wheat malt shows at first with a dry, very floral profile that also includes some hay and grass, along with a touch of citrus fruits and ending with a slight hop bitterness and some mellow sugars. Aftertaste is pretty flavourful as well, with some nice malt as the backbone, a kick of hops and associated alpha acid bitterness and finishing nicely with some honey sweetness and the lightest touch of alcohol, with the dryness still front and centre. Overall, a pretty nice IPA surprisingly, that is seemingly a blend of Brut and New England substyles, but decidedly light flavoured, with a rich malt backbone and a low ABV. Nice to sample local-ish and fresh - a worthy drink and nice to have if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Newport News, Virginia on 20-November-2022 for US$3,79, canned on 16-June-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-December-2022.
